This is a repost from last May. As far as I know, the venues described are still showing, although one venue "Tequila Joe's at the Imperial Palace" has been moved from its sidewalk location on the strip to inside the hotel itself..

After *never* having been to Las Vegas (ever!) in my life, not even once, I have visited that city *twice* in the last two months (March and April of 2006) and discovered that, among other things, it's a great place to do karaoke.

Sorry about the extended downtime folks. We will be back up today. Most of the upgrades went according to plan, but there was one extra upgrade I wasn't counting on.

Sayoko's son gave us a HUGE 58" HDTV projector TV. We pretty much tore down the wall that was on the stage, and thanks to the master craftmanship of Vic and Mark, we built a stand for it that even the mongels could not take down. Can anyone say we have a huge e-penis now?

Many upgrades are goin in today. New big screen TV for the stage, new KJ and broadcast machines, lots of work going down. This also means for the next few hours the stream will be down.

Vic if you're readin this just show up, lost your #.

Some of you might notice an "Administer" choice has popped up on the menu to the left for you now. If you get an itch to write something, or maybe you just want to tweak the site a little, you're more than welcome to.

Also it'd be a great help if some of the old stories from the old site could be copied/pasted over. So if you have and article on the old site, it's still copy/paste able if you follow this link.

Man, I was FUCKED UP yesterday.. I drank every drink purchased for me, and like the true alcoholic I am, I went home without vomiting and woke up this morning without a hangover. Being an alcoholic rules, thanks everyone that got me there last night.

Today is new speaker day, and a select few of us will be down there putting them in. Heh.. Brain fart, writers block, whatever you want to call it I just had it....
