The end of paper tickets

Huzza, we did it first.

I concur

Toq:I'm sure you've already considered this, but I thought I'd just throw in my two cents.

I think what you might try doing is copyright EVERYTHING and then continue to offer autokdj and the second generation of the front end for free on the website.

Then if anyone wants real support, they should pay for it. You could run specific hours that people could actually call you or someone who really knows what they are doing to help with all the stupid questions that are answered in the documentation onsite. ;)

Then after the new system is perfected *i believe FUBAR said he was going to make it backwards compatible for those who aren't using tickets or cards or aren't using barscanners and touchscreens etc* you should charge handsomely for the system and offer full free support. You could only sell a link to people you have personally ok'd. All the pirates wouldn't be able to compete with the system you have and there is no way in hell those cheap bastards would pay for anything.

I personally am saving up for when everything is perfected. Regardless of what you decide to do, I intend to keep my promise of not letting anyone near it if you decide to let me use a copy and i'm going to pay for it!

just a thought

Re: Time To Start Marketing!!!!

Toq, SERIOUSLY, your system is genius, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, it's FAIR! You should seriously copyright that shit and start tryin' to market it. You, and all the people that helped write the program, would make a fortune!! That's just my personal opinion.
